Motorcycle Cannonball 2014 #57 Colorado

Prospect Cannonballers

4/13/14 It was my intention to put information here to any folks wanting to participate in future Cannonballs. Seems I’ve been a bit busy so if there is anything I could help answer just contact me. Would be more than glad to help.

This sparked my interest and would like to know how to get started in Cannonball. How did you chose the class and age of your motorcycle to use?I see Pre 1917 but see others with newer years running . Can you run the same year you join or is there a list and how would you suggest getting started ??
    Thank You Joe McDermott

    • morn n, class an age. this is the forth Cannonball. the first was pre 1915. second was pre 1930, the third was pre 1937 an this one is pre 1917. not sure as to the next ones years. but my guess would be 100 year old bikes. the classes consist of 3. if your wanting a chance at the overall win you would need to have the oldest single cyl single speed bike in the competition. and if there was a tie the oldest rider of the finish would be the winner. we are not in this years race. as we only have a 99 year old indian and this one requires 100 plus yr old bikes. hope this helps. if any other questions just yell. thanks. gary
